How do I know that coaching is right for me?

For coaching to enable you to make positive change in your life you will need be open and honest with your coach and committed to putting your plans into action. Coaching does not suit everyone so we offer a free consultation first so you can explore how coaching might support you. You can then decide if coaching is what you are looking for to help you achieve your goals.

How long is a session?

Typically a coaching session can last around 60-75 minutes although we may agree to extend this slightly if the topic requires this. There is also the opportunity of telephone/skype or email contact between sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on you and what you want to achieve - and of course how motivated you are outside the sessions. We will discuss this when we meet.

How often are the sessions?

We will determine at our first meeting how often we may need to meet but this can vary depending on your goals, your motivation and opportunity to implement the things you want to in order to implement the change you want – it can be a moveable feast to best meet your needs.

How much will it cost?

Depending on how many sessions we think we may need, we will agree a flexible plan tailor made for you.

Where are you based?

We are based in the South West and are flexible to meet our clients in their locality. We make sure that we are able to meet in a comfortable, quality environment where you will feel relaxed and comfortable. Typically they will be good hotels, often with spa facilities where many of our clients take the opportunity to meet friends for coffee, take treatments and include their coaching sessions as part of their day.

We hold regular sessions in Truro, Exeter, Taunton, Cheltenham, and even overseas in France.

What is the difference between coaching, counselling and mentoring?

According to the International Coach Federation, Coaching is defined as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and/or professional potential.”

Counselling is often about clarifying options in a time of personal crisis.

Mentoring is the guidance gained from life experiences from those that have learned, to those that are learning.
